(1) The name of this Act shall be “Legal Aid Act, 2054”.

(2) Section 1 of this Act shall commence immediately and the other sections shall be enacted by the Government of Nepal. It will start from the date specified in the designated area by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
